About Us
Hi, we are Jade and Karlie (AKA Jarlie).
We are two best friends currently in our second year studying Media and Communications at Birmingham City University.
We've created this Blog to document our exciting trip to New York with BCU School of Media.
Just to introduce the two of us... we both love travelling, cocktails and Taylor Swift.
In this Blog, we will be exploring the best sights to see, a range of the most delicious places to eat and all the top tips we think you need to know! Having both visited The Big Apple before we are on the look out for hidden gems of the city. With NYC being iconic for the backdrop to many well known films and TV shows, we will of course also be on the hunt for the best media locations during our trip.

On the run up to NYC I was so excited and would even send Jade a daily reminder of how many days we had left till the trip. #bcumediaontour100% lived up to my expectations and I had the best week in New York. The highlights of the trip for me were definitely Top of The Rock, being in the audience for Good Morning America and without a doubt, the shopping! Anyone thinking about going on the trip next year, do it! You’ll have the best week and love experiencing how they #domediadifferently over seas 🇺🇸🎥✈️

Having visited the big apple before I was excited to experience a different side of the city I hadn’t explored before. One of my favourite parts of the trip was watching the sunset from Dumbo and the city light up at night. #bcumediaontour also allowed me to see an insight into the media industry in NYC, which I Ioved, especially being an audience member of The View!
